Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Ramo has been adopted! 12-30-2015

Male German Shepherd Dog /Labrador Retriever mix about 7-9 months old. Good with kids. OK with cats. Gets along with other dogs.

Meet Ramo!

Ramo was adopted from Coastal as a puppy in June. He was one of our "K" litter puppies. He is a German Shepherd and Labrador Retriever mix who is currently 58 pounds. The family who adopted him can no longer care for him due to an unfortunate circumstance. The family is heart broken that they cannot keep him any longer and has asked us to find him a new home.

Ramo's family had children, and even some chickens, and he fit in beautifully with all of them. He is friendly and energetic. Ramo gets along with other dogs, small animals, and children. He loves going for walks, going in the water, and going for car rides. He has already been on family outings to Yosemite and the Kern River. He is crate trained and knows basic commands like sit, down, and stay. He has typical puppy energy and enjoys chewing on bones and playing with his toys.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
