Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Kobe has been adopted! 04-23-2016

Male German Shepherd Dog about 3-5 years old. Good with kids. Gets along with other dogs.

Kobe was turned into the shelter and clearly not cared for by his previous owner. After being treated for a yeast infection, his coat is much improved and he's 100%.

Kobe does well with most dogs although he clearly has a dominant personality and would do best with a mild mannered female or would probably love to be an only dog. He LIVES for long walks, is great on a leash, and is the perfect companion on a sunny day. He is housebroken and a relatively low energy guy who would fit into most any situation. Kobe would be a wonderful family dog as he clearly loves kids, he is housebroken and he is a good watch dog. He will let you know if someone is coming to the front door!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
