Kaiya has been adopted! 08-24-2013
Kaiya is a 1 year old GSD mix (probably with Cattle Dog) who is a complete doll. She is great with people, a bit timid with men at first, but warms up, and is great with kids and other dogs, both small and large. She is very submissive and would love one or more canine friends to play with. She loves to ride in the car, is housebroken and very mellow in the house. She is a Velcro dog and will quietly follow you wherever you go. She does have separation anxiety when left alone. She is not destructive but try's to get out. She would be best suited in a home where someone is home most of the time, has other dogs, and likes to take their dogs with them.
Kaiya would excel at agility and would be a perfect office companion as well!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
