Coastal German Shepherd Rescue

Candice has been adopted! 10-05-2013

Female German Shepherd Dog /Cattle Dog mix about 3-5 years old. Gets along with other dogs.

Turned into the shelter because she learned how to clear a fence, Candice found herself in a sticky situation. Candice is a smart and energetic youngster, probably mixed with Cattle Dog/ Heeler. Candice knows basic commands such as sit, shake, and down. She is an active girl and while staying in boarding, she has forged friendships with several of the other dogs. She discovered the “Jolly Ball” in the yard and has quite a bit of fun carrying the ball around with her. While she hasn’t been left alone in the yard, she also hasn’t shown any interest in the walls or fencing.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
