Remy has been adopted! 11-15-2014
Because Kip was too scared to come out of his kennel at the shelter, he was labelled fearful and "rescue only". He was literally a last minute save and he's a very lucky boy. He is completely submissive and wants NO trouble from anyone. He is in a foster home with a pack of shepherds and mixes and he is friends with all, enemy of none. He had to be someone's dog before as he is very comfortable inside, hasn't had any accidents inside, doesn't bark (so far). He knows a couple of commands and walks ok on a leash. He will definitely benefit from some obedience classes with his new family. Kip is tall and long - we think he will fit into a family well given his gentle nature. He really just wants kisses & hugs and has a medium energy that is easy to live with!
The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
