Princess has been adopted! 09-29-2006

Princess is a sweet and gentle older girl who always has a wag of tail for her people.

Poor Princess was turned in to a local shelter by her owners after 11 years. They said it was because they were moving to a smaller home, but we can't imagine how this well-mannered girl could be left behind.

Princess is happy, healthy, friendly and very spry for her age. She loves going on long walks and then spends the rest of the day relaxing by your side. Her foster family has two little boys, 3 and 5, that she adores. She walks well on a leash, even for the 5 year old!

She also lives with 3 cats and doesn't mind in the least. She's house-trained, rides in the car like a champ (even jumps up in a truck with no problems!), and is good with other dogs. She's very smart and learns quickly.

Princess is simply wonderful. She doesn't even bark! So, she won't make a good watch dog but she'll be a great companion!!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
