Mickey has been adopted! 12-03-2006

Poor Mickey was found stray and starving. He regained his weight while his temporary family looked for his owner, but they couldn't keep Mickey and came to us for help.

Mickey is a medium sized five or six year old fellow with a fantastic, loving personality! He LOVES his new foster brother and sister – they tear around the yard and flop for a big nap every day. He is housebroken and has impeccable manners. He loves a good chew toy and will entertain himself for hours with the appropriate toys.

Mick is a low maintenance kind of guy – he’ll do well as an only dog or with a dog that has a similar personality – he probably won’t do great with a very assertive dog personality (it scares him!).
Actually, we can’t say enough good things about the Mickster – he’s just a great all around fellow! His foster mom adores him!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
