Brooklyn has been adopted! 05-06-2011

Female about 0 old.

Brooklyn LOVES LOVES LOVES a brisk walk. She will do best in a home where, if there are kids, then they are older (teenagers and older). She's probably a little too active for little ones. Brooklyn is super smart and would be a wonderful choice for a family that would like to do some advanced training with their adopted dog. Brooklyn does have one thing that she is not fond of - wheels! Skateboards, rollerblades, skates - they confuse her and scare her.

Update 3/13/11

Now that Brooklyn is in training, she is getting great one on one attention and works with the trainer every day - she gets to accompany him all over the facility and she is learning obedience quickly. Her perfect home will be an active one that allows her to participate in family fitness!

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
