Sabre has been adopted! 08-27-2011

Housebroken, huge ball drive, gorgeous runway model looks.....Sabre has it all. Our volunteers are suckers for a sable and this is the complete package! He's great with other dogs, he actually doesn't care that much about canine buddies. Sabre has been a beloved family member however, he is living in an active home where kids and adults come and go all the time and its a bit much for him. He ideally needs a spot where he lives with adults only who have solid shepherd experience and want to take Sabre beyond a basic obedience class.

Sabre is a rock star in public - he is a dog that can go to Starbucks, the dog park, Neiman's at Fashion Island to help you shoe shop. If you are interested in Sabre, please complete an application and expand on your experience with working shepherds.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
