Marcy has been adopted! 11-19-2011

Female about 0 old.

Marcy & Darcy had very little chance of leaving the city shelter alive. Apparent that they had a skin condition, the shelter turned to us for help. We knew that while our funds were low, these two young lives deserved a chance- especially since their condition was very treatable. With a moment's notice, we rushed out to save these 2 sisters. After vet visits, medication, and baths, these 2 girls are now healthy and ready to find their forever homes.

They are great puppies. They are doing really well with the crate, understand no, don't whine and save the chewing mostly for their toys. They have met the cat a few times and their foster parents are working on getting them comfortable with each other (mostly just the cat). They are working on potty training and they are doing excellent for their age.

The minimum adoption donation for adults is $375 and the adoption donation for puppies is $500. This amount only partially covers the cost of veterinary care, boarding fees, and other miscellaneous expenses involved in the temporary care and adoption of our dogs and is tax deductible when permitted by law. The adoption donation provides that all dogs will be spayed or neutered, receive current vaccinations, and are microchipped. If not, arrangements will be made on an individual basis ( i.e., puppies who will need to be altered by 6 mos old). Special consideration may be given to those willing to adopt older dogs or dogs with physical problems.
